I lived and worked in Turkey for sometime and was very fortunate to be able to visit a lot of the Mugla province. It is a beautiful country with some gorgeous landscapes and fascinating culture and history. The region is famous for it's Turtle beach and Ottoman ruins in Dalyan to the glamorous boating harbors of Gocek and the bustling towns and clubs in Marmaris. I will cherish the memories close to my heart and I highly recommend this place. A real unexpected surprise and joy to discover and explore.
What to eat: I loved the local Turkish pancakes and bread
What to drink: Turkey has some gorgeous wines very underrated!
Where to visit: I fell in love with Gocek. It is a beautiful town with seafront restaurants that are very memorable at sunset. I also recommend Saklikent and Dalyan for gorgeous nature, landscapes and history.
Where to stay: Han Hotel, Sarigerme.
