Harrogate- Bridal Fashion Week

Well, September has flown by at a very rapid pace!! It was a great way to finish off the summer by modelling for Bridal Fashion week and in the beautiful town of Harrogate in Yorkshire.

A big congratulations also to Richard Designs on their Bridal award for best customer service too at the show, a very hard working team!

Richard Designs and Emma showcased some fantastic new designs this year in Harrogate and it was a pleasure to model them. Now we have passed the covid period it seems that weddings will be trending a lot more again in the upcoming years to follow as we can finally celebrate bringing people safely together. I enjoy both companies and it is honestly a mind field to decide on ONE dress only! (Personally I think I would go for two ;-) You can see more on both Bridal companies on the links below!

As for Harrogate, I encourage everybody to visit this place. Coming from the UK myself, I was very impressed with this little slice of heaven, set up in the rolling hills of Yorkshire. It has been preserved to absolute excellence, with its tea rooms, parks and flower gardens and independent delicatessen's. Of course, there are the usual modern eateries here too however I feel they have managed to blend in the new and old very well. For your foreign visitors to the UK, this is a great pit stop to show them a quintessential town before heading to the Yorkshire dales or if you are visiting the neighbouring city of Leeds! Go explore!

Stay: The Yorkshire in the town centre was a fantastic newly renovated hotel with a fabulous restaurant and bar. Other good options are The Crown, White Hart or the Doubletree Hilton

Eat: An impressive selection here of dining options, you will be spoilt for choice a cuisine for all pallets. I would suggest trying some of the British food here and 'William and Victoria' for your roasts and cosy wine bar and the 'Drum and Monkey' for a great seafood choice.

Drink: Head to the very popular Betty's Tea room for an afternoon tea and cake

Shop: The Harrogate Soap company and Fodder Farm shop
